Purpose of Cycle4Seas

We started the Seas4Life Trust to preserve the right we all share to clean waterways and oceans and healthy ecosystems that sustain all life on the planet. To sustain this vision, we operate a Trust focused on funding direct action conservation efforts at the community level.

To help us raise money for these worthy causes we welcome you to participate in our inaugural fundraiser, Cycle4Seas, powered by Activity Safaris.

Cycle4Seas is 'an Epic Off Road Cycle' 25th August - 1st September from Kadjiado to Watamu, travelling through Selengai, Amboseli, alongside Kilimanjaro, through Tsavo, along the Sabaki river and on to Watamu. It's an active adventure that raises awareness about Kenya's waterways that feed into the ocean and the importance of preserving our seas for all life on earth.

Individuals, teams and families are encouraged to participate. Those that can’t do six days can join for a day or two at a special rate. The last two days from Tsavo to Watamu, are ‘family days’ where children are encouraged to participate. They are the future of this planet, so the more they can get involved the better. The ride will be tailored to the children’s capability.

The Cycle4Seas Route

The cycle itself runs through some of the most beautiful countryside in Kenya—through its parks and amongst its wildlife. The route follows along rivers that flow from Nairobi, through Tsavo and to the Sea (i.e. Mbagathi, Athi, Galana and Sabaki River) and across and alongside the Amboseli and Tsavo conservation areas onto Watamu Marine Park.

Though challenging in parts the cycle is accessible even to the intermediate adventurer. The last 3 days, the riding is tailored to the families/children’s capabilities. It is a truly African wildlife and sea experience!
